COMMUNITY
HFTR is a national ministry of Youth for Christ. We exists to share our faith in underground subcultures to those who do not know Jesus Christ as the savior of the world. Regardless of whether someone shares our beliefs, we value their friendships and openly listen to their views.

CHRISTIANITY AND CULTURE
We believe that Christianity exists outside and above culture. Therefore, being a Christian doesn’t necessarily determine how you dress or what music you listen to. All of us belong to different subcultures (based on tastes in music, social morays, etc.), but as Christians we are all united by belief in Jesus Christ.

RELATIONAL EVANGELISM
We sincerely care about everyone around us. Therefore we refuse to force our beliefs down any-one’s throat but we do seek to be real and speak our minds with the same freedom anyone else has. We know that we can never hope to discuss our beliefs with someone without knowing what they believe. We go to where underground people are and when the topics arise of  faith and God we do not shrink back.

We do not try to persuade someone to our belief system by mere words for scripture says that you must be “born of Spirit”. So we communicate our beliefs to inform and build mutual understanding but unless the Spirit of God beckons someone to believe our coercing is futile.
